UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:
People want their lives to have meaning. How do we discover our purposes in life? Acknowledging God’s authority in our lives enables us to become the persons whom God created us to be.
In this lesson, we are brought face-to-face with the need for God’s people to understand the importance of choosing men and women who reflect His character and are driven by His purpose. God is not just the God of a song, shout, and dance; He demands and requires that we execute justice and righteousness. Many times churches are saddled with leaders who lack vision, courage, and the will to be open to God’s will for the future.
Lord God, teach us to live in such a way that our lives will have meaning and value to those with whom we live and work. May the love and grace imparted to us be evident in the eyes of those whom we meet daily. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
